Dawn of this week focuses attention upon a group of Americans that has been greatly mugmented during the last several years and whose ranks will not shrink for many years to come. We have in mind those who are handicapped by disabilities but nevertheless are eager to who It makes you feel good when think people are better than you know they are. Earl Roberts, Formerly Of Linn County, Dies Earl Edwin Roberts, a resident of the Bellfountain community for the past 17 years, died at the family home, west of Bellfountain, Saturday morning.

Mr. Roberts (was injured in a logging accident in 1931 and failed to regain his health. He was the son of Henry and Harriet Elizabeth Grey Roberts and was born at Crawfordsville, May 26, 1889. At an early age he moved with his parents to Brownsville where he received his education. He was married to Mabel Claire Snodgrass at Albany, July 22, 1913.

Mr. and Mrs. Roberts made their home at Brownsville a few years and later moved to Toledo, coming to the a Bellfountain district in 1929 to locate on a farm. Mr. Roberts was affiliated with the Methodist church and had been active in the Oregon national guard while living in Toledo.

He is survived by his widow; seven sons, Howard Roberts, U.S. navy at San Diego, Verlin Roberts, Sweet Home; Thane Roberts, U. S. navy at Norfolk, Morris Roberts, U. S.

army air corps at March Field, Royce Roberts, Shedd; Syerel Roberts, Lebanon, and Keith Roberts, Woodburn; three daughters, Miss Eldis Roberts, Eugene, and Miss Nada and Miss Arla Roberts at home. Funeral arrangements, in charge of the DeMoss-Britt Funeral home will be announced later pending arrival of members of the family. RANGERS INCORPORATE Salem, Oct. 7. David H. Looney, on the east side of the Pacific highway north of Jefferson. All of the land except 11 acres owned by Marion D. Looney now has been sold. This was a portion of the donation land claim of the late Jesse Looney.
