Mr. Arnold was born in Albany to Clifford and Sarah (Stanley) Arnold. He graduated from Albany Union High School and became a warehouseman for Albany Ice Cold Storage (now National Frozen Foods). He married Diane Perfect in September of 1967. They divorced in A private service and burial were held Friday at Gilliland Cemetery.

Imogene Jack Oct. 24, 1918 Aug. 5, 2000 CORVALLIS Imogene Lucile Brown Jack, 81, of Corvallis died Saturday. The daughter of Samuel and Ethel (Duckworth) Brown, she was born, grew up and was educated in Kent, Wash. She was married to Elmer K.

Jack for 48 years, and he died in 1989. She worked for the Portland House Authority from 1943 to 1948 and was employed by the Corvallis School District from 1966 until her retirement in 1984. She worked many years on the Benton County Election Board and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, including for blood drawings. She was on the Visiting and Cheering Committee of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her hobbies included traveling and sewing and she enjoyed visiting friends and attending concerts and plays.

Lodged in Linn County Jail. Rodney Wayne Looney, 35, Welches, Monday. Charge: Lane County warrant for failure to appear, Clackamas County warrant for driving while revoked. Lodged in Benton County jail. Injury Accidents ALBANY POLICE One person was injured after a collision at 7:24 a.m.

Sunday on Southeast Pacific Boulevard near the junction with the Santiam Highway. According to a police report, Julian. Notestine, 53, of Goldendale, was driving a 1995 Subaru the wrong way on Pacific when he collided with a 1980 Honda driven by Micah Joel Breshears, 20, who was eastbound on Ninth Avenue. Notestine was cited for failure to obey a one-way designation. Nicholas Campbell, 21, of Albany, a passenger in Breshears' car, was extricated by Albany firefighters and taken to Albany General Hospital.

He suffered internal injuries and was in fair condition this morning at AGH. Four other passengers in the two vehicles were not injured. Albany police responded to a crash between a 1993 mail van and a 1991 Pontiac last Thursday in the parking lot in front of Linn County Federal Credit Union in the 1200 block of Queen Avenue. Jane Evelyn Graham, 49, of Sweet Home, in the Pontiac, was stopped at the edge of the lot, waiting to pull out into traffic. Ralph William Haines, 34, of Albany, a mail carrier, pulled up behind Graham's vehicle, then missed the brake pedal and collided with her car, according to a police report.

Graham was taken to Albany General Hospital, where she was treated and released. LEBANON POLICE A bicyclist was treated at Lebanon Community Hospital after he was injured in a collision with a 1991 Dodge Shadow shortly after 7 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of West Oak Street. Mastin Taylor, 29, of Lebanon, the bicyclist, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way. He was treated and released.

Sharon McConnell, 61, of Lebanon, the driver of the car, was not injured. BENTON COUNTY SHERIFF Deputies responded to a collision about 8:40 p.m. Saturday on Highway 20, about a half mile west of Philomath. Mynda Ebbesen, 16, of Philomath was driving a 1982 Toyota Tercel east on Highway 20. According to a report, she was distracted by two dogs, her vehicle left the road and she overcorrected.

She crossed into the this year in April. Mrs. Serrao belonged to the Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, gardening and interior decorating. An artist, she painted in oils and watercolors. Surviving are husband Lesley; son Charlie of Albany; daughters Lisette Pugsley of East Wenatchee, Dianne Schudel of Corvallis and Carolyn Ridinger of Tualatin.

There are eight grandchildren. Son Michael died in 1972. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fisher Funeral Home. Contributions in her name may be made to Benton Hospice, in care of Fisher Funeral Home, P.O.

Box 156, Albany, Ore. 97321. Margaret Zawislak Feb. 1,1918 Aug. 6,2000 LEBANON Former Lebanon resident Margaret "Teedy" Zawislak, 82, died Sunday in Portland.

The daughter of Arthur and Leela (McBee) Lilly, she was born nd grew up in Corvallis and graduated from Roosevelt High School. While in high school she played violin in the Oregon State University Orchestra. She moved to Lebanon in 1953 and owned and operated Van's Stationary and Printers from 1962 to 1973. She was a member of the Printing Industries of America and of the Pacific. She married Edward Zawislak in 1970 in Lebanon.

After selling the store in 1973, the couple moved to Waldport. Mr. Zawislak died April 6, 1998, and Mrs. Zawislak moved to Portland this year because of illness. She belonged to and had been an elder of the Lebanon First Presbyterian Church.

She served on the Lebanon Planning Commission from 1969 to 1973, and was the first woman in Oregon to hold such a position. Mrs. Zawislak was on the board of ARC was a district chairman of the, board of the Santiam Council of Girl Scouts and was named Lebanon Citizen of the Month for June 1966. She also served on the board of the American Red Cross and was a member of the Sweet Home and Lebanon chambers of commerce and the American Legion Auxiliary. She belonged to and was a past worthy high priestess of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.

Mrs. Zawislak liked playing the piano and organ and visiting with family and friends, and she enjoyed canning. Surviving are daughters Barbara Wold of Portland, Sharon Garrison of Juno, Alaska. Joyce Gamble of Milwaukie, Mary Jo Walker of Gresham and Edwina Zawislak of King City; son Bob Van Loh, of Gresham; and sister Mildred Ransom of Portland. There are 14 grandchil dren and four great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Contributions in Mrs. Zawislak's name may be made to the Girl Scouts, Santiam Council, in care of Huston-Jost Funeral Home, 86 W.

He served in Vietnam and was discharged in 1969. He returned to Albany and to work in the frozen foods warehouse, where he was employed at the time of his death. Mr. Arnold enjoyed going to the beach to ride his sandrail. He liked watching old movies and welding.

Surviving are ex-wife Diane Perfect of Albany; close friend Teresa Zurcher; sons Shawn of Albany and Aaron of Troutdale; daughter Lori Hays of Stayton; mother Sarah Arnold of-, Albany; brother Larry Arnold of Tualatin; and sisters Avis Nelson of South Beach, Betty Grubb of Kent and Mary Clemens of Colorado. There are six grandchildren. Father Clifford and son Scott preceded him in death. A graveside service in celebration of Mr. Arnold's life will be at 2 m.

Wednesday at Twin Oaks Memr.ial Gardens. AAsum Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Following the graveside service, -family and friends are invited to the home of Diane Perfect and Garry Garrett, 1805 Grandview Drive N.W., Albany. Contributions in his name may be made to the Kidney Association of Oregon or to the American Diabetes Association. Vivian Camenzind May 26, 1931 Aug.

2, 2000 SWEET HOME Vivian Irene Vancil Camenzind, 69, died Aug. 2, at Lebanon Community Hospital of a lengthy illness. Born to Daniel 0. Vancil and Irene (Parks) Vancil in Canyon City, she was a descendant of two of Oregon's earliest pioneer families. Her greatgrandfather ran freight wagons between The Dalles and John Day, in the early 1860's.

Raised by her father in the rough and tumble logging camps of the great Northwest, she was employed in the forest as a "whistle punk by age ten. In 1946 she married, Orville Clayton Gess who died in 1971. In 1975 she married, Frank Camenzind and moved to Sweet Home, where they purchased and operated the Long Street Market. Mrs. Camenzind was a draftsman by profession, and a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was a member of the Sweet Home Genealogical Society, and a talented artist. Her hobbies included family research, oil painting, and constructing miniature towns and houses. Survivors include husband Frank; daughters, Terry Lynn Cabero of Bend, Roxann Smith of Salem, Wanda McGahey of Sweet Home and Ronnie Taylor of Victorville, sons, Patrick Gess of Orville, Shaun Gess of Sweet Home, Kevin Leigh and Mike Camenzind, both of Montana, Surviving are sons Brian and Eugene, both of Albany; grandsons Russell and Jeffery, both of Albany, Jarred of Portland and Jason of North Pole, Alaska; and great-grandchildren Josselyn, Justin and Jenna. A memorial service for Mrs. Jack will be at 2 p.m.

Saturday at the Corvallis First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ann Bateman officiating. Contributions in her name may be made to the First United Methodist Church, in care of McHenry Funeral Home, 206 N.W. Fifth Corvallis, Ore. 97330.

Albert Middlestadt Nov. 5, 1914 Aug. 6, 2000 LEBANON Albert F. Middlestadt, 86, of Lebanon died Sunday morning at The Oaks of Lebanon. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of Herman and Emma (Spoo) Middlestadt.

He served in the Army in World War II, and returned to Lebanon afterwards. Mr. Middlestadt worked 41 years for local plywood mills. He belonged the Santiam Post of the American Legion. Surviving are brother Clarence of Lebanon; sister Velma Preston of Medford; and four nieces and a nephew.

Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Huston-Jost Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Providence Cemetery in Scio. Contributions in his name may be made to the Santiam Post, American Legion, for veterans' needs.
