She married Robert W. Higgins on June 16, 1930, in Minneapolis. They moved to Jefferson in 1946 and later to Albany. Her husband died in 1977. Mrs.

Higgins was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Albany at the time of her death. Surviving are two children, Robert L. Higgins, Anchorage, and Shirley Watten-, barger, Albany; her mother Elsie Gierke, Minneapolis, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One son, James Higgins, preceded her in death. John Ruckman Funeral for John Perry Ruckman, 81, 205 S.E. Sixth who died Monday at Albany General Hospital of in-juries sustained in an automobile-pedestrian accident, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Morris officiating. Burial will be at Buhl Cemetery in Buhl, Idaho, with a graveside service on Friday.

He was born Sept. 28, 1898, in Elliott, Iowa. He moved from Buhl to Eugene in 1953 and came to Albany several months ago. He was a retired glazier. He was a membeP of the Albany Senior Citizens.

He was born May 1, 1898, at Bloomington, Minn. He moved to Portland in 1910 and to the Halsey area in 1911, where he lived until 1946. He moved to Lebanon in 1974 from the Tangent area, where he had been farming. He was a sergeant-at-arms Lori Ann Cook, daughter of Dennis E. Cook, 1387 S.E.

Ninth who was killed Saturday in a hunting accident near Airlie, will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan with Pastor Charles Neville officiating. Burial will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.

The casket will be open from noon to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at McHenry Funeral Home. Memorial contributions tray be made to the Corvallis Eagles Lodge or the Corvallis American Legion building fund. They may be sent to the funeral home, 206 N.W. Fifth St.

He was born Nov. 20, 1929, to John and Eugenia Davis May in Waukon, Iowa. He moved with his family to Philomath in 1944 and later moved to Corvallis. He was a 1950 graduate of Corvallis High School. After serving two years in the U.S.

Army, he returned to Corvallis. On Feb. 22, 1951, he married Joan Anderson in Corvallis. She survives. From 1948 to 1965, he was employed by Smith Appliance.

He also owned and operated May's Appliance Store in Albany, selling the store in 1973 to Payless Drug Store. He then was employed in the Corvallis Payless appliance department and for the past two years had been manager of that depart- ment. He was a member of the Corvallis Eagles Lodge, Corvallis Elks Lodge, Corvallis Moose-Lodge, Corvallis American Mostly cloudy through Wednesday with local areas of light rain. Highs 45-50. He was born Sept. 27, 1895, at Campbellesville, coming to Oregon 58 years ago from Idaho. Doster was a 34-year resident of Lebanon. He was a veteran of World War serving in U.S. Army.

He worked in the logging industry most of his life. He married Nancy Gertrude Copeland May 29, 1920 in Nashville Tenn. She survives. Also surviving are three children, Labelle Dunn, Otis, Jean Turi, Portland and Robert L. Doster Tigard; one sister, Vivian Doster, Portland; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Orrin Bell LEBANON Orrin R. Bell, 60, 38938 River Drive, Lebanon, died Monday at Lebanon Community Hospital. Services will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Huston Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m.
