1 1 --I Jrv' j. n. A HOST OF NEWCOMERS have been swelling Albany's population within the past few months and pictured on this page are five of the fai ilies calling Albany "home" now. Shown aboVf is Mrs. Allen Chadwick and her Siamese cat "Sheba." The Chadwicks came to Albany from Hamilton, Ohio.

Mr. Chadwick is engaged in the insurance business here. The Chadwicks have two sons, Jerome and Jay. Jerome is attending the Rochester School of Medicine, having been graduated from Harvard last spring and Jay is attending Wilmington College, Wilmington, Ohio. The Chadwicks are at home on West Seventh Ave.

Penney Co. store. Mr. Sorseth worked in the local store before going to Roseburg and Portland. They left Albany 11 years ago.

However, Albany is fairly new to' their son, Jason, who is a sophomore at Albany Union High school, and shown with his mother above. The; Sorseths live on South Lawnndge. 'i AT 'Ci- ri(T tii R. AND MRS ARIEL PETERSON picked a site in North Albany, overlooking Thornton lake, for their new home after their arrival here from Newell, Iowa. Mr.

Peterson has gone into the investment business here. Shown above is Mrs. Peterson on the patio of their Thornton Lake Drive home. The Petersons have two children, a daughter, Mrs. Jerome Noble, Salem, and a son.

Bruce, in Germany. ANOTHER INTERESTING fXmILY- coming to Albany recently was that of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Coffey who are living at 3720 S. Geary St.

The Coffeys came here from Jefferson and Salem. Mr. Coffey is associated with the Western Kraft Paper company. Shawn in the picture from left are Jana, Mrs. Coffey, Julie and Vincent Coffey.
