2-ranked Eagles to 10-1 on the year and 3-0 tn league play. "It wasn't too tough." understated Harrisburg assistant coach Jerry McKlbben. "There wasn't a big difference between us and them In the first half, then we kind of blew them out In the third and fourth periods." The Eagles led by a comfortable 24-15 count at the Intermission, then put the rubber to the floor and erupted for 44 second-half points. The Devils, on the other hand, struggled to get their 10 post-half points. "We came out and changed our defenses around and that really frustrated them." said McKlbben.

"They turned the ball over a lot In the third and we were getting fastbreak laying. It was kind of a rout after that." Brian Brown led the Harrisburg charge, getting "six or seven" steals In the third stanza alone, according to McKlbben. "He, more than anybody else, probably Inspired us," said McKlbben. "He's had the flu the last few days, but he really went after It in the third period." Brown and Brent Woods led a balanced Eagle attack with 12 points each. BLUE MTN. 35 Linn-Benton's unbeaten women's basketball team scored Just 15 points in the first half Friday night against Blue Mountain, but the Roadrunner defense held their four straight opponent to less than 40 points for the fourth straight game and that was enough for a 48-35 OCCAA victory at the L-B gymnasium. So entering tonight's 6 o'clock home game with Judson Baptist a team LBCC has beaten twice this year the Roadrunners are 5-0 in league and 12-2 overall. "The difference tonight from other nights was that we caused 30 turnovers but couldn't capitalize," LBCC Coach Dave Dangler said. "We haven't played against a man to man defense for 10 games and we were a little rusty against it." Jean Melson had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead LBCC, while Debbie Prince added 10 rebounds.

Another factor was that LBCC shot 40 percent afield and the visitors just 22 percent. BLUE MOUNTAIN tK): Woodward 1 CahMI Bar-chum 4. Mollhn 1 Heaiey 7. Myers Stubbiefield t. Jones 0 UNN BENTON 14ti: Mellon 14.
