They plan to be married in July of 1999. Ronell, daughter of Rod and San- i dra Davidson of Albany, graduated in 1994 from South Albany High School. She is studying in Portland at the Linfield College School of Nursing and is working at Good Samaritan Medical Library. Matthew is the son of Mark and Denese Schaffner of Albany.

A 1995 South Albany High School graduate, he attends Linn-Benton Community College and plans to transfer in 1998 to the University of Oregon. He i works for Cellular One of Albany. ELLIOTT DUNKIN Valerie Elliott, daughter of Ken 1 Nikki and Reese Frum Kebra and Matthew Rice Jane and Ryan Bauserman Tisha and Kelly Dillon Richard and Karen Watte and Barb Elliott, and Jason Dunkin, son of Dave Dunkin and Patti l'Bach are engaged. They will be married May 9, 1998. Valerie graduated from South Albany High School in 1987 and attends Linn-Benton Community College.

She works for Hewlett-Packard. Jason graduated from Dallas High School in 1989 and attended Chemeketa Community College. He Bauserman-Scheie Jane Andrea Scheie and Ryan James Bauserman exchanged wedding vows July 17 in Kauai, Hawaii, with Calvin Ho officiating. Parents of the couple are Larry and Roxanne Scheie of Albany and Debbie Clark-Hagey of Gresham and Jim Bauserman of Longview, Wash. Jane wore a satin, sleeveless sheath with a low-cut back.

Her tulle train was trimmed with satin Dillon-Steele Tisha Dawn Steele and Kelly Del Dillon were married July 5 at Im-manuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Arlyn Russert officiated. The couple's parents are James and Belinda Steele and Del and Michelle Dillon, all of Eugene. Tisha wore a satin gown with a sheathing of beaded, embroidered roses.

A headpiece of silk flowers held her veil and she carried a bouquet of peach roses and assorted owns ana operates Mam DunKin Guide Service. BRUNELLE SWEETER Elizabeth L. Brunelle and Jered anH paging and her match- Frum-Edgar Nikki Lynn Edgar and G. Reese Frum were married Oct. 18 at Woodland Chapel in Salem.

Dale Moore officiated. Mert and Kathy Edgar of Silver-ton, Tana Penfold of Albany and Gary Frum of Brownsville are the couple's parents. Nikki wore an empire-waisted gown with chiffon skirt. She carried white roses, stephanotis and ivy. Kathy Edgar was her daughter's matron of honor.

-Lynnette Allen-and Lisa Fleetwood, sisters of the bride, and Adrian Ullven and Kim Jordan were bridesmaids. The best man was Jason Williams, and the groomsmen were Jeb DeZurney, John Brown, Jeff Holloway and Jason Frey. Sam Jaross and Chris Jaross were the ushers. Nikki graduated from Silverton High School and from Southern Oregon State College. She works in white flowers.

Watte-IMielsen Karen Theresa Nielsen and Richard Joseph Watte were married Aug. 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Corvallis with Father Martin King officiating. Parents of the couple are Soren and Rose Nielsen of Rickreall and Omer and Evelyn Watte of Albany. Karen wore an A-line gown of Italian matte satin with pearls and lace on the bodice.

She designed her own veil using the headpiece her "Mother wore 29 years ago. She car-ried a bouquet of 56 red roses. The newlyweds are members of St. Mary's Classical Choir, and the group sang at their wedding. Anita Stryker was her sister's matron of honor; Katie Tooley and Kathleen Heimueller were bridesmaids.

The best man was the groom's brother, Paul Watte, and David Alexander and Ken Corcoran were groomsmen. The bride's brother, Peter Nielsen, ushered. Karen graduated in 1987 from Dallas High School and earned a Sweeter are engaged and plan to be married June 6,1998. Elizabeth's parents are John and Dawn Brunelle of Lebanon. Kebra wore a satin gown beaded with pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and gardenias. Andrea Hampl was maid of honor, and Kristi Fosdick, the bride's sister, Jenny Carson-Phillips and Sage Robinson were bridesmaids.

Tim Robinson was best man. Corey Daniels, Billy Hall, uncle of the groom, and Skip Marler, were groomsmen. Megan and Nick Rice, sister and brother of the groom, were flower-girl and ringbearer. Kebra graduated from West Albany High School in 1992 and is a full-time student at Linn-Benton Community College. She works for lbanyJJeneral Hospital.

Matt gfaduatedfomW'esTAlr-bany High School in 1993 and attended Linn-Benton Community College. He works for Oremet. The Kices took a trip to Kauai, Hawaii. They live in Albany. and of Lesley and Darla Sweeter of Heidi Kyle was maid of honor; Michelle Oberbeck, the groom's sister Laurissa Dillon and the bride's cousin Jessica Parker were bridesmaids.

Tiffany Land and Dillon Marshall, cousins of the bride, were flowergirl and ringbearer. Jonathan Dillon was his brother's best man. The groomsmen were the bride's brother Mathew Steele, the groom's brother Jerimi-ah Dillon, and Steven Erheart. Tisha attended Willamette High ing, layered veil was held by satin roses. She carried a mixed bouquet-of Hawaiian flowers.

Melissa Scheie was her sister's maid of honor; bridesmaids were Coleen Volbeda and Jenny Bauserman, the groom's sister. Joel Bauserman was best man for his brother, and another brother, Dustin Bauserman, was groomsman. The groom's sister, Hilary Clark, was flowergirl. Jane is finishing work on her degree in elementary education at Jetterson. Elizabeth graduated from Lebanon High School in 1996 and works for Federal Metals Central Credit Union in Albany, Jered, a 1996 Jefferson High School graduate, works in Albany for Les Schwab.

8, 1947, in Oakland, Calif. She is originally from Monticello, and he is from Bolivar, Mo, The Mattesons lived in Springfield, for three years and in Fremont, for 20 years. After living in Prineville briefly, they moved to Albany in 1973. Tom was a maintenance mechanic before they started their roofing business in Fremont. Besides the roofing company, the Mattesons have been involved in several other small businesses, including a mobile home park, a gas station, a grocery store and, since 1981, the auction business.

They have always worked as partners. The couple is semi-retired now, and, after years of being too busy, Tom says he would like to try fishing again, "If I still know how." Lois and Tom are parents of Donna Matteson Sherman and Mitchell Bill and Joyce Mitchell of Albany celebrated 50 years of marriage in August at a reunion of the Mitchell-Fortier family at the Salem home of daughter Cami. The couple's children were hosts. Joyce Fortier and Bill Mitchell were married Nov. 11, 1947, at St.

Mary's Catholic Church in Albany. During their marriage they lived in Springfield, Yakima, and Scio before returning to Albany. Bill retired as a vice president of SmokeCraft. He is active in programs for retarded citizens and is on the board of Chamberlin House. Joyce is a homemaker whose hobbies include reading.
