Sadden Death Edward Murray', aged about 8 years, son of Murray of the' "Exchange Hotel, died Wedndsday evening about 9 o'clock, after a short Illness of congestion of the brain. On Monday night he was complaining butas not considered dan serous. Tuesday be was up and around the house as usual, but Wednesday he was taken down and died as above stated that evening. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Insane.

Mr. Robert Ilerren, of Long Tom, a wealthy and lnfluentlaf farmer, was declared insane last week, and has been taken to the asylum at East Portland. Mr. Ileiren has been sick for some time, and his insanity is supposed to spring from bis bodily ailments. It is hoped that with re turning health, his mind will recover its usual healthy tone, "and that he will soon return to his family sound in mind and bedy.
